[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]January 27, 2021 – The CSAAA received the following update from the R.C.M.P. Firearms Program today:

“A technical update was applied late yesterday and we have heard from some of the businesses that have indicated that they are able to access BWS this morning without issue.  We will continue to monitor to ensure the issue is resolved.”

January 26, 2021 – The CSAAA contacted the R.C.M.P. Firearms Program again today after receiving reports the business web services site has been inaccessible since Sunday, January 24, 2021.  This is the response we received:

“Please be advised that the RCMP is currently experiencing intermittent issues with some applications that are affecting external users. The RCMP is working to troubleshoot these problems and will be applying a fix early tomorrow morning [Wednesday, January 27] that should address these issues. We suggest that businesses not use any internet bookmarks or favourites and to go to the RCMP/CFP public facing website directly, as this may be causing some of the issues. We realize this causes extra stress to our clients and we are working with the larger organization to resolve the issues.”
